Agrupamento de Escolas de Aljustrel


The School Cluster of Aljustrel (Agrupamento de Escolas de Aljustrel) is situated in the municipality of Aljustrel, and its headquarter is the School of Basic Cycle, 2 and 3 Dr. Manuel de Brito Camacho (Escola Básica 2 e 3 Dr. Manuel de Brito Camacho). The Municipality of Aljustrel is located in the south of Portugal and in the centre of the region Lower Alentejo (Baixo Alentejo). The educational offer provided by the School Cluster of Aljustrel comprises all levels of education from pre-school to high school.
The School Cluster of Aljustrel has about 115 teachers, 1100 students, and is part of the Educational Territory of Priority Intervention (National Education Project).
The school board has a strategic vision to make more positive changes, not only by providing socioeconomic, family and psychological support, extracurricular activities, alternative courses, eTwinning and Erasmus+ projects, but also encouraging inclusion, entrepreneurship, involving the educational community, fostering the need for changes, that will have to be carried out by all, in a process of common construction and pursuing ideals of excellence of the quality of teaching.
